ConvertHub provides free unit converters, PDF/Word file tools, and educational guides for general informational purposes. This page explains the limits of that information so you can use the site with the right expectations.
Not professional advice
Nothing on convert-hub.net constitutes medical, legal, financial, engineering, or other professional advice. Our unit converters and guides are educational tools, not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. For example, a temperature or dosage-related conversion should never be the sole basis for a medical decision, and a length or area conversion should never be the sole basis for a structural, electrical, or other safety-critical engineering decision. If a decision carries real consequences for health, safety, money, or legal standing, verify the figure independently with an authoritative source or a licensed professional before acting on it.
Verify critical calculations independently
We test our conversion formulas and maintain them against official unit definitions (see our methodology page), but no online tool is immune to browser quirks, unexpected input, or human error in how a value is entered. For anything where being wrong has a real cost — construction measurements, medication dosing, financial calculations, regulatory filings, academic submissions with grading consequences — cross-check the result with a second source, a calculator you already trust, or a professional in the relevant field. Treat ConvertHub as a fast, convenient reference, not as the final authority.
PDF and Word conversion accuracy
Our Word-to-PDF and PDF-to-Word tools use real document-conversion engines (LibreOffice and pdf2docx) and produce good results for most everyday documents, but layout preservation is not guaranteed to be perfect. Complex tables, unusual fonts, dense multi-column layouts, forms with checkboxes, and scanned (image-only) PDFs are more likely to need manual review or cleanup after conversion — scanned PDFs specifically require OCR before our PDF-to-Word tool can extract editable text at all. Always review a converted document before sending it somewhere important (a job application, a legal filing, a client deliverable), and keep your original file until you have confirmed the converted version is correct.
